HATINTHEKATon 06 Nov 2011 at 5:42 am 19so i bought 3 packs of zoom worms, 2 tricks and a finesse, and i took one from each and threw it in a sink of water… uhhh they didnt float, am i really just that unlucky to get 3 duds? or will they float somehow wen i shakey head them? help plz and ty
TheLureTouron 06 Nov 2011 at 5:52 am 20@swbArchive Usually go as light as I can, I think these were 3/16.
swbArchiveon 06 Nov 2011 at 6:05 am 21@TheLureTour what was the weight? 3/8ths?
CanadianCharlie64on 06 Nov 2011 at 6:13 am 22Thats why I only use Zoom products 99% of the time
TheLureTouron 06 Nov 2011 at 6:40 am 23@pelletgun12 Yes. Rigged on a Picasso shakedown jighead.
pelletgun12on 06 Nov 2011 at 7:12 am 24Where they riged on a shakey head?
calzoeeon 06 Nov 2011 at 7:24 am 25the zoom bait looks stiff compared to the other one. i would figure it wouldn’t be as stiff with a longer length, but it’s actually pretty stiff. thanks for the video!
TheLureTouron 06 Nov 2011 at 7:55 am 26@Creekangler19 Just did another video on the trick worms. Watch “Do trick worms float”. Sometimes they float, sometimes they don’t. Sorry.
TheLureTouron 06 Nov 2011 at 8:47 am 27@UARAF16 The Roboworms are softer and skinnier. It doesn’t take much to make them twitch. I won’t hesitate to try the trick worms though. If you’re on a good bite, I think they would work fine. Give them a try and let us know.
UARAF16on 06 Nov 2011 at 9:18 am 28I know for drop shotting, Roboworm is the worm to use.
But how do you think the Trick Worm is in comparison?
( im asking because the robo worm is the same price as trick worms, but you get 20 trick worms in a package, roboworms=10
AWilderFateon 06 Nov 2011 at 10:06 am 29@Creekangler19 I agree they don’t float. Try using a shorter version. I bought the gander mountain generic version at 4″ and they don’t “float” but they don’t sink like rocks like the trick worms seem to do.
TheLureTouron 06 Nov 2011 at 10:57 am 30@nolangreen I would not do that. I’ve left hooks in senkos for long periods of time, and they were rusty when I found them. You might be ok with these, but I don’t think it would be worth it.
nolangreenon 06 Nov 2011 at 11:34 am 31It shouldn’t hurt to pre rig plastics over the winter with hooks so they’re ready to go in the spring should it? Having a debate with my uncle.
brittd14on 06 Nov 2011 at 12:27 pm 32THIS WAS A WASTE OF MY TIME!
