Best Bass Fishing Lures

Please do not give me a type [ie. spincast], please give a specific model from a brand. For a rod, I have been looking at the Abu Garcia Vendetta, and the Shakespeare Ugly Stik Lite. I cannot spend anymore than $100, as I am a beginner. Thanks!
