Does anyone know of a marina on Kissimee that rents john boats with an outboard?

I’ve looked on the web but there is’nt any information on boat renting for bass fishing except going with a guide which is to expensive and takes all the fun away.

I used to work at U-Haul a long time ago and they had 14′ aluminum V-hulls with 8 hp Johnson outboards for rent for $40. per day. I don’t have any idea if they still do rent boats or not, but you could contact U-Haul in Kissimee and ask them. Here’s a phone #

    U-HAUL CENTER KISSIMMEE
    (407)932-0299
    2021 NORTH MAIN STREET
    N OF HWY 192 ON 441
    KISSIMMEE , FL 34744

They might be able to point you into a direction of someone that rents what you need.

    Best of luck.

Can’t give you a specific name but they do exist. When I was down there last year I saw several signs along the lakes road offering boat rentals. I could see some that definitely appeared to have small outboards on them.

There are a couple of places. Camp Mack(863 696-1108) rents jon boats they are in really good shape, we rented one last year. It’s located on the Kissimmee River between Lake Kissimmee and Lake Hachineha.(http://www.campmack.com/)

Grape Hammock is on the southern end of Lake Kissimmee(http://www.grapehammock.com/). Have never been here, found them online when we were looking last year.

    Good Luck!
