jobu88on 19 Dec 2009 at 9:55 pm 1I’ve only tried it twice but I got a fish both times using a drop shot and a Berkely Gulp Alive 3-inch minnow. Next year I will bust out some worms and try it in a bigger lake with bigger fish.
rangerboatman346on 19 Dec 2009 at 10:49 pm 2never heard of the lake but ill check next year, and thank

rangerboatman346on 20 Dec 2009 at 2:14 am 6get gamakatsu drop/split shot hooks either number 1 or 1/0 i prefer #1
BassAnglerMike33on 20 Dec 2009 at 2:35 am 7okay thanks bud ill just learn how to tie it and get some octopus hooks
rangerboatman346on 20 Dec 2009 at 3:35 am 8well it would be good to learn the knot for drop shotting, but my friend ties the fishermans knot (the one with like 6 twist then pass it though.) but he leaves like a 1 foot tag end to attach the weight. Its harder the palimar knot isnt very hard to learn. Hope that helps!
BassAnglerMike33on 20 Dec 2009 at 4:29 am 9do i really acually need to tiwe the palomar knot and can i like texas rig the worm without the weight or no im new to dropshot rigging i usually just texas or weightless rig them

xraidedlokon 20 Dec 2009 at 5:45 am 11try everything you never know whats gonna happen when your shits in the water!!
ottowatonon 20 Dec 2009 at 6:28 am 12it does to, braid does not stretch even at 100 feet mono stretches 1 foot per 2 feet, so…
amiicoryon 20 Dec 2009 at 6:48 am 13ahh ya its what its intended for but you know its a good question and unlike his have a good 1-3 foot between the lure/live ans the sinker
crs1012on 20 Dec 2009 at 7:31 am 14Or you can use 30lb braid, that’s what I use. More strength for the same diameter; you can muscle the fish out from deep instead of worrying about breaking. It doesn’t have the same sensitivity but that’s fine w/ me.
lentilekon 20 Dec 2009 at 8:20 am 15zajebiście mnie ten filmik relaksuje w robocie
rangerboatman346on 20 Dec 2009 at 8:40 am 16no you can cast them. if your fishing in deep water like anything over 250-30 feet you can drop it straight down, but if your fishing in shallower lakes you pretty much need to cast it. are you new to drop shotting?? because if you are then i would definatly use these with 6- or 8 pound test!
rapalabro17on 20 Dec 2009 at 9:31 am 17this may be stupid, but you can cast the drop shot right? you dont have to jig it right under you right?
rangerboatman346on 20 Dec 2009 at 10:15 am 18these lures rock. i get the blue back with silver belly and i always catch them on a drop shot rig!!!!!
