How do I set up my fishing lure for bass fishing? I am new at this :)?

   You kinda have to think like a Bass. He, is in many lakes, the top predator. The best I can tell you is that you are trying to tease a Bass into striking or imitating prey that he wants to eat. Like you, playing with a cat and a play toy teasing it to jump on the toy.The same with a bass and a lure..

   One of the most versitile lures is a jig. a heavy weight/hook comb usualy with a skirt or grub attached. frequently used to mimic crawdad behavior it can also be used in a variety of ways and in combination with soft plastics.
