Is there any bass fishing in New Zealand and if so, how do I find a guide?

Edit: Wasn’t much help on your question so here’s a link that has all species of fish in New Zealand. It does have one guide listing but, for Trout (freshwater), however there are some ocean charter boats listings which in turn = “Sea” Bass

New Zealand is famous for the varied outdoor recreation they have and the people are great. if you need a guide just ask anyone on the street and they will happily help.
my cousin and her husband used to live in Christchurch and i had the good fortune of a visit a few years ago. we went out and had a blast.
