What are some good rigs or lures to catch rock bass? Ive always used worms with split shots but i don’t want to use live bait anymore. So what are some good rigs or lures to catch rock bass?

I want lures that will catch bluegill and rock bass. I’m fishing in a creek with heavy cover, in the spring. I use a spinning reel/rod. Something i can find at Wal-Mart or K-MArt.
