Best Bass Fishing Lures

got transferred to whidbey island washington. i am an avid but rusty bass fisherman looking for bass lakes in the puget sound area. heard about cranberry lake in deception pass state park and would like to know if anyone has fished it and how it was. im not asking for anybodys sweetspot or honey hole [...]

I was just checking the NY DEC regulations for bass fishing and found that during the spring time they want you to only use artificial lures. I was wondering why. Is it because natural baits can spread disease during times critical to breeding? Or something else. Thanks in advance.

If it is, do you use it? If it isn’t do you still use it? I went fishing yesterday and fished next to a guy that was using goldfish (illegally). He didnt catch anymore fish than I did using lures only, but his catches were so effortless. any opinions?
