Best Bass Fishing Lures

i need a good rod for big fish and i also like to know how much pounds this rod can hold thank you please answer asap

Fishing mostly in Casco Bay from a boat.

I am only 14 and i love fishing. My favorite type of fishing is for striped bass. I go out on my dads boat and we used cut bunker for bait. I want to start catching them with lures. Does anyone know of a good lure for striped bass? Price is not an issue.
