Backwater Charlieon 30 Aug 2010 at 3:30 am 3Crankbaits, spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, poppers, walk-the-dog baits, soft plastics, lipless cranks, chatterbaits, hard swimbaits, soft swimbaits, jerk baits, a lot of lures to pick from.
Happy fishing.

It is a simple cast and reel no fancy footwork required here, just vary the speed of your retrieve (how fast or slow you reel in your line). Another bait that is pretty simple to use is a top water jerk bait (tiny torpedo, zara spook) just gentley twitch the end of your rod as you retrieve the lure.
millhouseon 30 Aug 2010 at 4:20 am 5i swear by crankbaits. the best ive found are the storm wiggle warts and any of the norman lip lures. all u have to do it casst them around cover and real it in. another great way is a texas rigging style with rubber worms. the best worms are the gulp alive or sinko. you can cast it weightless in lilly pads or timberand jerk it over the top. and with weight you cast out into weeds or cover and let it hit bottom then jerk straight up on the rod by raising it from the bottom and then let is set down again until it gets back to the boat. good luck and good fishing
