you can get these baits at

Maine Boy (formerly NYBoy)on 09 Aug 2010 at 4:07 am 4thats my neck of the woods–i fish in maine..skip the lures and get live bait (well its actually dead by the time you get it), there are many bait shops in the area that have live bait..the best choices are mackeral and sand eels–if you get a whole frozen mackeral cut it up into about 2 inch wide chuncks and place that on your hook..or with sand eels hook them through the eye socket..you’ll probably use a high/low rig which is a sinker on the bottom and two hooks placed about 2 feet above it…fish around high tide and you”ll have some luck..if you get ancy you can catch “schoolies” (baby stripers) using any type of bass lure
