   spinnerbaits, crankbaits, soft plastics, jigs, and topwaters.
   your question is vague, it leads me to believe that you are a beginning bass fisher or looking to get a gift for a bassin’ friend.
   any basser can do well with a selection of strike king spinners, easy to find at wal-mart.
   crankbaits? easy too, just look for lures that look like little fish, my favorites are made by MANNS, the baby1 series will catch a bass anywhere, there are many others, rebel, heddon, normans, any branded bait will work if used in the right place at the right time.
   soft plastics! ask the guy at the sports counter to show you what you need to texas rig a zoom lizard, he will know what to do and bass will be caught.
   jigs? damn, im still working on that myself!
   topwater!!!!
   thats the most fun of all. look for buzzbaits, poppers, and other floating lures.
   most important thing to know, any name brand lure will catch bass if you use it in the right place at the right time.
   you just need to go fishing and learn what works and when on the water that you fish.
