What are some of the best saltwater fishing lures?

What are some of the best saltwater fishing lures for fishing for blue fish, stripe bass, and those little tuna.

Justin Pon 03 Sep 2010 at 11:56 pm 4I am guessing that you are on the eastern seaboard of America. Striped bass like long lures made out of minnow strip material. You can use rubber bass minnows or anything that looks like an eel. They will also hit grub-tails and sometimes minnow plugs. As for the blues you can use just about anything; cut-bait works well, however it is not a lure. If you are wanting to cast and retrieve you can use Gotcha plugs(your local pier should have them), leadheads with grub-tails, strip-bait, or bigger rapalas(Make sure you buy the saltwater kind, I think they are called “X-RAP”). Little tunas? I don’t know what those are, but I think you might be talking about spanish mackerel, as they are closer to shore. These fish are almost solely caught on GOTCHA plugs but I have had a few hit a curly-tail jig. If you are talking about little tunny albacore or any tuna that may wander nearshore I cannot help you but I am pretty confident that you are speaking of spanish mackerel.
