What are the best lakes in Southern California for bass fishing?

If you could, please also tell me what the bass seem to like at that lake and the conditions. Topwater chuggers, stickbaits, or plastic worms etc.

poprocksandcoke15on 28 Aug 2010 at 12:01 pm 2Lake Dixion is one of the best bass fisheries in the world. Spring lake is also great, but Dixion sticks out. The bass in these lakes are HUGE! Use strong rods reels line ect. Big swimbaits, a foot long is normal. Fish them in or around 30 feet of water for sunny days; if its cloudy go to the bank. But if you want to catch a bunch a 6 inch worm is always good.
