DonRamboneon 15 Jan 2010 at 4:50 pm 2in a real situation given some a bit of depth it falls ways slower. I live on a lake and swear by these!!!! These consistantly catch bigger fish. On those slow days when nothing’s hitting rig one of these backwards on a 4O hook and hold on!!! Usually gets hit on the first cast as its dropping. Fish it really slow with a long pause and twitch method. Helps alot if you’re watching the line too, sometimes you won’t feel a thing and your line’s running sideways…. u know what to do… TIGHT LINES
cameltoejoe69on 15 Jan 2010 at 5:01 pm 3It sorta swims backwards if you rig it upside down. Handy for trying to “swim” the bait underneath some overhanging structure. This seems to sink a lot faster than when I’ve fished it though, and I was using a 5/0 widegap hook. Wonder why that is?
