TMills0036on 19 Dec 2009 at 3:35 pm 5Most of the time bass take in the lure but it takes them a minute to judge whether the meal is actually a true meal. Thats why so many times you wont have that problem of fish swallowing the lures. The time it takes them to judge the meal hopefully you will have set the hook. Still you cant rule out that there is a chance though of a lure being swallowed, it can still happen.
